WINS AN ADDITIONAL AWARD
Innovision’s Program for JDRF Brings 2015 Award Total to Four

Houston, Texas – June 17, 2015
After awarding three Tellys to Innovision Communications, Inc. in early June, The Telly Awards has honored Innovision with an additional bronze Telly. Of the nearly 12,000 entries from across the world, fewer than 20 percent receive Bronze Awards.  Innovision earned the additional award for the program it produced for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).  A Day in the Life of Charlie Amis won a Telly in the Charitable/Not-for-Profit category. When shown at the 2014 JDRF Promise Ball, the program helped JDRF raise more than $1.3 million for JDRF-funded research. Innovision donated more than $16,000.00 in products and services to produce the video. Innovision’s team included Director of Photography Steve Henry, Senior Editor David Tanner, and Senior Producer/Scriptwriter Beth Stier.

The Telly for A Day in the Life of Charlie Amis is Inovision’s fourth award for programs that the company produced in 2014. Innovision also won Telly Awards in this year’s competition for The Corpus Christi Liquefaction Facility produced for Cheniere Energy, Inc., World Ready produced for Lex Mundi, and What Do You Look for In a Marine Lubricants Supplier? produced for Shell Lubricants.
“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. “Innovision’s accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.” “The most-important recognition this program can earn is that it helped JDRF exceed its donation goals during its fundraising gala,” said Beth Stier, Owner and Senior Producer of Innovision. “To have the program receive recognition for its overall production quality is icing on the cake. Everyone at Team Innovision who worked on this program is thrilled.”
Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards is the premier competition honoring non-broadcast programming.
