You are invited to apply for the 2015 Promise Ball, The Best is Yet to Come Youth Ambassador Program!  Each year, this black tie event welcomes over 800 guests and raises over $1.2 million for JDRF-funded research.  This year The 2015 Promise Ball features a glamorous evening celebrating the golden age of Las Vegas.

Youth Ambassadors are individuals between ages 6-17, living with type 1 diabetes (T1D), and are the “face” of JDRF through educational and volunteer efforts.  In addition to the values gained through leadership, the Youth Ambassador Program provides social opportunities to all members promoting friendship, peer support, and good times!

If selected, ambassadors must commit to the following requirements:

  • Attend photo shoot on Saturday, February 14, 2015
  • Contribute requested items to Ambassador Auction Baskets (see details below)
  • Participate in TBD auction item art project
  • Attend Promise Ball as a Youth Ambassador on Saturday, April 18, 2015 with mom and/or dad as either a gala guest or volunteer

Ambassador Auction Baskets-This year, our silent auction will feature a boy’s themed basket and a girls themed basket.  The boy’s basket will be a “Technology” basket and the girl’s baskets depending on age will either be an American Girl’s themed basket or a Tween Shopping basket.  Items should be valued at $50 or more.
